Superfood Burger

Ingredients (2 serves) :
Mince Patties
250gm premium beef mince
2 tbsp GF oats
1 egg
1.5-2 tbsp curry powder
Salt/ pepper
3 tbsp tomato chutney
1 tbsp mixed herbs or chopped fresh parsley or thyme
1 tsp chilli flakes
Toppings: Salad (lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, avocado) grated beetroot & carrot, Sauerkraut, Organic Mustard, Watercress, grilled pineapple or fresh pineapple.
Method
Combine mince, curry powder, oats, egg, seasonings, tomato chutney, chilli flakes. Use a tablespoon and roll out mixture to form approx. 4-5 balls then press down with a fork into a meat patty.
Heat a pan over medium heat with 2 tbsp olive oil. Place patties into fry pan and cook at medium heat for approx. 5 mins each side (or cooked to your liking). Serve between two lettuce leaves and pack full of sauerkraut, organic mustard, salad, beetroot/ carrot and watercress.
** For males or physically active females, serve on a wholemeal or paleo bun.
