Protein Pancakes

These pancakes are one of my favourite and easy breakfast options! These taste like real pancakes which will satisfy your sweet tooth without feeling sluggish after eating them.

Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 1 banana (has to be really ripe)

  • 1 egg

  • 1 scoop protein powder (my choice is Go Good Vanilla Whey or Mitchells Bone Broth Protein Powder)

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp coconut oil

Toppings: almond/ peanut butter, berries, greek or coconut yoghurt, seeds, honey or maple syrup, shredded coconut.


  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Heat a fry pan over low heat with the coconut oil and pour the batter into the pan. Cook for approx. 2-3 minutes each side or until the mixture looks bubbly then flip.

  3. Serve with your favourite toppings like berries, yoghurt, seeds, nut butter and maple syrup.
