Green Energy Balls

This simple 5- ingredient recipe is so quick and easy to have as a snack option. I wanted to make a snack that I could enjoy between meals that was nutrient dense, simple, and tasty. I think this recipe ticks all of those boxes.

Green Energy Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed nuts 

  • 1 cup fresh dates

  • 1 handful spinach

  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds

  • 2 Tbsp cocoa or cacao powder

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients together in a blender, adding water to get desired consistency.
  • Once rolled into balls, you can roll in ground pumpkin seeds or desiccated coconut if you wish.
  • Store in fridge for up to four days or in freezer for a couple of months.
