Chicken and Herb Patties

The most delicious, best chicken patties without the need for any flours or grains! Gluten free, paleo friendly and so easy, it will be a guaranteed favourite! Easy to adapt or change to any other meat if need be. Great served with our famous green dressing, hummus, beetroot hummus or a yum tomato chutney! 



Ingredients (serves 4-6) 

  • 500gm chicken mince

  • 1 large onion, diced finely 

  • Small handful of parsley, finely chopped 

  • Small handful of coriander, finely chopped 

  • Small handful of basil, finely chopped 

  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped finely or minced

  • 2 Heaped Tbsp almond meal 

  • 1 egg Olive oil for frying 

Method 

  1. In a bowl, mix ingredients together until well combined. Form into even sized patties (should make approx 10-15 depending on the size.

  2. Heat oil in frying pan on a low-medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for 3-5 minutes, until golden brown before flipping and repeating until fully cooked. Remove from pan and place onto a plate with tin foil over them. Allow the chicken patties to stand for 5 minutes before serving.

  3. Serve on a wholemeal or paleo bun with lettuce, grated carrot/ beetroot, tomato, cheese, gherkins, bean sprouts, tomato chutney or our amazing green dressing! Or chop them up and add them on top of a yummy salad for a lighter option.
